Ain't dead yet, mfs.

Sharing a couple of morphs I sculpted for this in Zbrush as I personally don't like how the base hairstyle looks and I think it's been used quite heavily by other creators.
Installation: Just copy the data folder to your Daz content library. Both morphs should load when you load the hair.
Obviously you'll need the base product which you can buy here:

Could make a nice wallpaper. Zoom in all you want. My 3060 took about about 8 hours per render for this shit.
Just a reminder that any time you have two or more reflective/metallic surfaces facing each other in a Daz scene, get ready to take long ass naps once you hit render.

Been about a month since I posted new art, but I don't think I need to tell yall what my opinion is on quality vs quantity. For every render I post online, there's about 15-20 that don't make the cut. This is the finished product of what started as that zbrush screenshot I shared earlier. Most of what I had planned for it changed along the way, I spent a fuckton of time modelling and texturing and rendering and deleting everything and then doing it all again.
Obviously there could...

So. Been a while since I posted, because as always, work's been hell, but more importantly, because I've also been working on something. Got a really good feeling about this one.
That's all. Stay tuned.

I've included a WIP render which was originally what I had in mind for the character. Glad I decided to rework it. I usually don't get the time to make the changes right away, so making notes helps.
For this one I decided to change the hair and then go with a portrait orientation, because all that shit on the side wasn't really adding anything to the scene.
Speaking of, I hope y'all are aware of what a gold mine Sketchfab.com is for free, low-poly assets that you can use to ...

Attached everything.
It's a little more time spent than usual in post-processing (usually it's just 15 mins of playing around with hue-saturation, levels etc in photoshop), but this one needed the different renders to make the wet skin look right. I've spent days searching for realistic jizz props for Daz, and haven't found a single one that's satisfactory. I prefer painting it by hand anytime.

Nothing special, but since some of yall asked for it, here ya go.
I obviously can't share the hand-painted textures I use myself, as I'd like to maintain that exclusivity, but you can plug in whichever ones you like, should work the same way. Hope it helps.

I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that I spent like 4-5 hours out of my day, painting jizz in photoshop.
Anyway I also recorded some of that, will upload the timelapse after compressing the video.

Burnt out a little making that stupid phone booth scene, so decided to do something simpler for now. Heres a 4k render for all tiers. More images from this set coming up soon.

Been toiling away at this for the last two weeks, whenever I can find a little time. Might not look like much right now, but I'd say that this one's by far the most technically challenging scene I've made to date, since I've done almost everything from scratch, which includes modelling and texturing the phone booth, all the graffiti, and most of the environment.
Gonna take forever to render, obviously, but keep your eyes peeled. And for those that've asked for a lighting tutorial, I'll ...

A few months ago, someone (probably a former or current patreon) leaked my art on piracy sites, but this person was kind enough to also compile all the older content that I've shared elsewhere before I even created this page. Funnily all this time I thought I'd actually lost this stuff because of a corrupted drive a couple of years ago. Anyway, I figured I might as well share it with you guys.
Most of it is from when I first started out with 3dx art, so there's a lot of ugly ass render...
Ain't gonna lie, I've been in a bad creative slump recently. Spent close to 40 hours modelling an environment this week, for what I thought would be my next set of renders, only to decide that it wasn't going anywhere. Tried reworking some of my older scenes in Daz, but everything just seemed super uninspiring.
Here's the thing. Making 'art' in Daz3d isn't difficult. All I gotta do is load in one of my pre-exisisting characters, throw in some generic 3-point lighting, hit render, ...

First of all, happy new year to everyone. I know it's a bit late, but I haven't had the time to even open Patreon for the past two weeks. Someone asked me recently if my inactivity meant I'd decided to take a break from posting new Daz art. I haven't, nor do I plan to anytime soon.
When I don't post renders for a while, it's usually because I'm working my primary job on freelance projects with tight fucking deadlines, often for more than 12, sometimes 15 hours a day. And when I'm n...
Happy holidays y'all. Thanks for sticking around.

Been super busy meeting work deadlines before holidays, but I was able to make this yesterday. Modelled the environment myself. The neons in particular were suprisingly easy to make in Blender.
Btw I haven't posted much of this character, would yall like to see more of her?

Inspired by a Frazetta painting. I've used the same morph here that I made in the tutorial.

Just some info about the videos before anyone decides to buy it. Existing patreons can ignore this.
Like I said before, I use Zbrush for creating my morphs, so the software, along with some basic knowledge of it will probably be needed if you plan on following along. I can't help you with getting the software itself, but as for knowledge part, all you gotta do is watch Michael Pavlovich's Intro to Zbrush playlist on Youtube, it's free and a great way to get your feet wet.

Here ya go folks, I hope it helps.
I've tried to keep it as to-the-point and concise as possible, while also trying to not miss out on anything that I feel is important in my workflow.
But if there's anything in it that you'd like me to explain in more detail, if you think I haven't adressed something specific, or if you have general suggestions/feedback about it, don't hesitate to let me know. If your request is reasonable, I'll make the change asap.

Lots of time spent in post-processing these. I ended up painting in what I couldn't make in 3d, but I'm satisfied with the result.
Thanks for the support, and I hope everyone has a good week!

Wasn't all too happy with the previous render, so I reworked it with a new pose and a simple dress I modelled in Marvelous Designer.
Does anyone else use Marvelous here? Let me know if you want the dress and I'll send you the MD file. It's so much better than using Dforce in Daz, that thing's a damn joke.

I finally got some time this weekend to work on new art after a crazy couple of weeks. Spent it making this and some other stuff thats currently WIP.
I also got started with the mini tutorial I'd mentioned earlier. Nothing to fancy, but it's focused on sharing an efficient and easy way of moving between Daz3d and ZBrush to create custom morphs for Genesis 8 characters. I'll probably do a unnarrated timelapse of the sculpting process in ZBrush itself as well, but that's just for co...
2021-10-24 22:17:20 +0000 UTC View PostSo since a few of yall have expressed interest in how I go about making my art, I've been thinking of making a tiny little tutorial that contains some useful info and about Daz and the other softwares I use, tailored for creating 3dx art. It won't be narrated, just a captioned video or something like a pdf. And obviously there's way better tutorials about everything that I might possibly include, by people far more talented than me, but I just thought I could compile and share some of the tip...

Making realistic jizz is always something I've struggled with in Daz because readymade assets only work in a one predetermined pose, and you can never have proper interaction between two characters.
The solution was to sculpt the main props in Zbrush and then just paint in the rest in Photoshop. Took a while but I'm satisfied with the result.

Took a while but I finally got my pc fixed, and now I can get to rendering again. Thanks to those of y'all who decided to stick around in the meantime, and a warm welcome to those that joined recently. Let's celebrate this with my first hardcore render in years.
